Michael Gamble & the Rhythm Serenaders (Asheville, NC)
Michael Gamble is an internationally accomplished dancer, DJ, and organizer, having organized music and/or been head DJ for Lindy Focus (which he also organizes), Beantown Camp, International Lindy Hop Championships, Lonestar Championships, and the European Swing Dance Championships, among many others. He holds a bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
His Rhythm Serenaders are the product of nearly a decade of collecting swing music, transcribing classic swing-era arrangements, and cultivating strong opinions about what elements of swing music most drive dancers. Many of his musicians are veterans of great swing bands such as Solomon Douglas' Swingtet, Russ Wilson's Nouveau-Passe Orchestra, and the Atomic Rhythm All Stars. His song selections span the greatest decades of swing music, featuring compositions of Jelly Roll Morton, Benny Goodman, and Duke Ellington. His arrangements take the riffs and shout choruses of classic big band arrangements and compress them into combo form, for a high-energy, hard-swinging groove that never fails.

Conrad Friesen (Orange County, CA)
Conrad spends a lot of his time competing, performing, teaching and playing great Jazz at dances and events locally and across the country. He is quickly becoming a favorite DJ in the SoCal area and has an ever-growing collection of music from bands and combos of the swing and pre-swing era, as well as from newer groups that play original Jazz. He is well known for playing great dance music that you’ve never heard before and he loves music that swings hard. Conrad’s DJing is dancer certified.
Christian Frommelt (St. Louis, MO)

Christian Frommelt is a native of the fine city of St. Louis. He grew up listening to classic jazz, blues, and New Orleans party music at home and when he discovered vernacular jazz dance at age 18 it aligned perfectly with his existing passion for the swing and rhythm in American music. Since then, his obsession with collecting music and his infatuation with doing jazz dance have continually fed off one another. Christian has a massive trove of jazz and blues from all eras and is dying to make you get off your butt and dance. So get off your butt. Let's dance!
